Das Festival in der unberührten Natur mit Bademöglichkeit in der kristallklaren Soča ist wirklich ein Traum. Auch das Line-Up und der Sound waren absolut spitze! Ein absolutes Must-Have für Minimal und Deep Tech Fans!

Allerdings gibt es einige Punkte, die mich wirklich enttäuscht haben:

Das Bezahlsystem über eine aufladbare Karte ist äußerst problematisch. Man muss sich bei jedem Getränkekauf immer einen Beleg geben lassen, da häufig höhere Beträge abgebucht wurden. Es scheint, dass die Barkeeper gerne mal andere Drinks oder falsche Preise auf die Geldkarten buchen. Das komplizierte Pfandsystem macht die Sache nicht besser – manches konnte nur an bestimmten Bars zurückgegeben werden und angeblich wurde kein Pfand berechnet, obwohl er bezahlt wurde. Auf den Aufladekarten fällt einem gar nicht auf, wie sehr man abgezockt wird.

Schade, dass solche organisatorischen Mängel das ansonsten schöne Festival-Erlebnis trüben.

Unglaublich schönes Festival mit super lieben, netten Menschen und Top Organisation. Nur die Preise für Essen und Getränke waren etwas hoch. Die Lage ist zudem außerordentlich schön... Unglaublich schön ❤

A letter to management - Unfortunately I will not be returning to this event next year and from the conversations I’ve had, many of us won’t.

The beautiful aspect of butik is it’s community and camping. The people I have met here have been life changing. They are open, honest, kind, and loving. They are one of the best Festival community I have met in my years managing and attending festivals and events.

The challenges unfortunately outweigh the beauty. This event looks like it’s been struck by greed, complacency, and mismanagement.

The lineup is very limited and the event spaces are too small to support the size of the event. To be able to listen to music you are forcing yourself to cram shoulder to shoulder to listen to a system that for the majority of the event was running below 90dB. Conversations overpowered the music. Though there are technically 6 stages, most ran very… very limited set times. The music ends at 1pm on Thursday, and many of the stages only run for brief periods of time. It honestly seems like a waste of sound engineering and construction. Realistically there’s 1 or 2 stages running most the time and 3 of the stages are indoors, hot, and the music is very distorted.

Finally we need to talk about the payment card systems. This tactic is clearly a money grab design to profiteer off the breakage. Payment systems are not attached to your wrist so it is engineered for you to loose your card. Most of my friends have lost anywhere from 40-300 euros from lost cards. The staff are unhappy and also annoyed by the system and have no tools to be able to help you.

To top it off, garbage deposit is attached to your 1st card so if you loose your 1st one you can’t get your garbage deposit back which actually creates a reverse incentive for people to leave trash in their camp.

They also had a planning error where the event stated online that we could leave as late as 11pm on Monday, its normal to allow a day for everyone to prepare and leave especially when you are pinned in with a motorhome around other motorhomes. At the end of the event on Sunday at 10pm we received notices on our cars that we had to leave by 10am. That’s honestly not a reasonable expectation and a cold and impersonal way to end an event.

The rogue stage at the beach had better music playing and more people. This isn’t just my opinion, this is a consensus from conversation.

I’m surprised at how neglected this event is. I hope this is the kick up the rear to create improvements as for many it’s their first festival and they seemed lukewarm to try another festival as they think this is the standard of quality. We want to be able to nurture and grow our electronic music community and this event is leaving a mildly bad taste in some peoples mouths.

This is my second year at Butik in Tolmin. The location is awesome, the lineup at the top, the participants are great and the vibes are simply unique and wonderful.

Why 2 stars? Because unfortunately it is organized by crooks, infact everybody had the feeling to have been robbed by the bartenders. This could happen because you were forced to pay with a festival card, previously charged, so it was not easy to monitor your expenses, only by checking each receipt after each consume. Not surprisingly, after evening when everybody was up, bartenders were not releasing any receipt. I realized that I was charged more then expected during the festival unfortunately only the last day, confirming the suspicion with proofs. Infact I monitored the purchasing of 1x8,5€ kebab and 1x5,5€ toast, then checking the balance I was charged 20€ instead of 14€. This behavior is radically severe and to all intents and purposes fraudulent, a lot of people reported it and should be communicated to authorities, also because we are talking about dozens of tousands of euros robbed intentionally. Unfortunately this behavior could lead to the permanent failure of the festival and, if not solved, for sure will create tensions for the next year.

Too bad, because otherwise the festival would be a great success.

Hoping the organization will take in charge this severe problem and assign the services to a professional network, before serious problems arise.

NEVER AGAIN

Wunderschöne Landschaft und Musik war auch super. Allerdings wurde man ständig daran erinnert dass man nur hier ist, um sich ausnehmen zulassen.
Super aggerssive Securitys die zuerst nicht einmal Wasser auf dem Festivalgelände erlaubten. Die Barkeeper haben gerne mal andere Drinks auf die Geldkarten gebucht. Kompliziertes Pfandsystem, manches konnte man nur an bestimmten Bars wieder zurückgeben. Ich habe für ein 0,3 Wasser 7 euro bezahlt. Flaschen auffüllen konnte man nur außerhalb vom Festivalgelände.
Das Festivalgelände wurde auch manchmal geschlossen obwohl dort meine Freunde noch Tanzen war, ich wurde dann aber nichtmehr reingelassen.
Shots haben 6,50 euro gekostet, da nichts über Bargeld ging sondern über Aufladekarten fällt einem garnicht auf wie sehr man abgezockt wird.

Jedan od lepših festivala u regionu na predivnoj lokaciji. Line up je bio brutalan. Jedini propust je bio u organizaciji, postoji veliko licemerje vezano za ekologiju, čaše se naplaćuju uz povraćaj novca kada istu vratite, ali ne postoji opcija povraćaja novca na drugu karticu(ako ti je neki prijatelj kupio piće). Takođe, plaća se garbage deposit koji se vrati ako je propisno skupljeno smeće u kampu, ali se stanica za razmenu nalazila na velikoj razdaljini od kampa i to uzbrdo. Imam osećaj da je sve napravljeno tako da odustaneš od vodjenja računa o prirodi zato što su maksimalno otežali uslove. S druge strane sve super.
