Nell’interesse di mio compagno architetto, siamo andati a visitar la casa-estudio di Jože Plečnik. Molto completa l’esposizione in inglese della guida, riguardo alla vita e opera di questo importante architetto sloveno che fu allievo di Otto Wagner a Vienna e di cui sono presenti importanti lavori a Praga, a Vienna e che progetto anche la residenza estiva di Tito nelle isole Brioni.
Slovenia ha reso omaggio a Plečnik nella loro moneta di dieci centesimi, la Cattedrale della Libertà, rimasto soltanto come progetto, che non fu mai realizzato.
Devo ringraziare la guida che ha agevolato il mio compagno, in sedia a rotelle a visitare dove possibile la casa studio. Il resto della casa, essendo una vecchia costruzione non è dotato da ascensori.

Ein einfach wunderbares Erlebnis! Wenn man den Touristenströmen in der Altstadt mal etwas entfliehen will, findet man hier eine Oase der Ruhe. Die Führung war sehr informativ und hatte mit ca. 45 min genau die richtige Länge. Der Führer war ganz besonders nett. Der Garten ist auch sehr schön. Absolut zu empfehlen, nicht nur wenn man sich für Architektur interessiert, sondern auch, wenn man etwas über einen besonderen Menschen erfahren will, der Ljubljana geprägt hat.

Odlično vodenje in spoznavanje zanimivosti slovenskega velemojstra Jožeta Plečnika. V Plečnikovi hiši sta na ogled ohranjen arhitektov dom z vso izvirno notranjo in zunanjo opremo ter stalna muzejska razstava.
